Thinking back, on the uber powerful lyrics MJ penned in his hit Beat It, I find myself discovering new revelations - as is the case with most things of Biblical proportions, the aforementioned Beat It is no exception.
They'll kick you, then they beat you,
Then they'll tell you it's fair
They'll kick you - I imagine this as being painful. Granted the getting kicked in the nuts would be more hurtful than say, getting kicked in the shin, even that tho, is still pretty sucky.
then they beat you - Man, getting beat sucks. Like that time I lost the chess tourney, to that lame computer with only 256MB of RAM, or that one time that some guy pummeled me for making out with his girlfriend. Both of those beatings sucked equally.
Then they'll tell you it's fair - This perhaps is the worst part. Like a political satire not unlike our modern times, your pummelling of epic proportions will be justified, just as is my overuse of comma's.
What does this mean for you all? Well, if you can even get past the bitchin Eddie Van Halen solo that he nailed on the first take, you still have to accept the fact that crap will be beat from you, and it will be fair.

btw, did you notice in the So You Think You Can Dance finally the tribute they made to Thriller? It was totally MJ just without the MJ. Yes it's the wife's fave show. No I would not watch it without her. Yes she was upset that Travis didn't win. Yes I was upset that the kid with the heely dance didn't make the final four. Yes I still have my heelys.
