Sudoku has made me it's Futon. After two days, I'm addicted like a preppy on the sweet nectar of the cocoa bean sold exclusively at Fourbucks.
What is Sudoku you ask? It's a puzzle/game thing. It's like a crossword, but with numbers not letters. It's huge in Japan, mainly because their language does not lend itself to crossword puzzles. (Boy did someone screw the pooch on spec'ing that one out!) So I guess the Japanese are big into puzzles, and number puzzles are all the Futon out there.
The puzzle looks like this:
The rules of Sudoku are simple:
Enter digits from 1 to 9 into the blank spaces. Every row must contain one of each digit. So must every column, as must every 3x3 square.
Each Sudoku has a unique solution that can be reached logically without guessing.
This site, www.websudoku.com seriously has over 4 billion puzzles. They range from Easy to Evil. I am currently in the midst of an Evil puzzle. Last night, I thought I had it... then, I realized I had a wrong number somewhere. The Evil Sudoku has made me it's Futon.
Once you get started you'll see what I mean. Unless of course, you aren't into number puzzles. In that case, you're stupid.
