Office USA.

I'm right now watching this US version of the Office on NBC. I've seen better film on teeth. Laughing I am not. I yearn for repeats of last nights Lost which was better than getting a cavity drilled, but not as fun as getting my gums scraped with that pokey thinger-majig-er.

The ONLY redeeming value, and I mean ONLY, is that it is in HD. But I would take the moose over this crap any day.

yeah yeah yeah, we all know the british version is much funnier. (how funny is gareth in military mode). But compared to the other crap comedies being broadcast on network tv (ie Reba, Joey, etc..), it looks like gold. like trying to polish a turd i guess.

The US versions blows chunks. It's not even funny, I'm not even LIMH. It's a poor attempt, really. Steve Carrell is a funny man, but his talents are being wasted on this rubbish.

niko says,

you know what all you losers sounds like, my 2nd grade teacher telling me how 'the book is so much better than the movie'. Well, if i wanted to read i would do the book, but i don't, it's too much work. I'll take the movie. And if i wanted to locate a copy of the british version, i would, and i have seen an episose (yes the main boss is better than steve carrell). But i enjoy watching the american version. I think Dwight is better than his british counterpart. Also, this week's episode may not have been the top for the season, but the episode with steve carrell where he burns his foot on the george foreman grill was priceless. bloody priceless. you wankers!

btw, what american sitcom is better right now? none

Caleb HaGEN says,

i believe Michael Scarn said it best when he explained how it takes an advanced sense of humor to understand the prank by Todd Packer. I think the same is true for enjoying this gem of a show.

I also think that if an individual doesn't like this show he or she is a moron and has a protrubarence coming out of his face.

Noah says,

I knew this stuff would pull you Hagen brothers out of the bits and bytes. Everyone who is anyone knows that American humor caters to the ... how do I say... oh, not so bright. Humor that doesn't require thinking = American humor. That's just the way it is. How do you think Freddy Prinze Jr. got so famous?

We're fat, lazy and stupid. No wonder shows like The Office are on the same station as Joey.

Brad says,

You're right, Noah. Last Wednesday's episode was the WORST. EPISODE. EVAR. I was embarassed to be watching it the entire show. Lost better pick itself back up, because the last handful of shows have been hit or miss.

Sancho says,

Blah Blah Blah...and as you Americans say ETC. British vs. American, LOST vs. Brokeback. There is no such thing as quality unless it has the stamp of MEXICO on it's red, white, and green self. Oh, by the way...the American version of The Office is a mucho hit in Latin America!
