MP3's, errr, Podcast's.

Liz Phair is podcasting. She talks about it here like it's a religion. I love it when technology advances and psuedo stars catch on half a year later. I mean just the advent of the podcast, how cool is that?!

Remember when people started radio broadcasting, or recording sound to tape? That was SO LAST YEAR! Now we have this crazy new technology that allows you to record stuff, and then (and this is the best part) play it on your walkman iPod. I mean, seriously, to listen to someone talking about themselves, or singing songs they made up, WHERE EVER you go, that is the BOMB.

For example, back in that Liz Phair article, her conversations with her brother and her opinion of rail travel, is mind boggling. It's so facinating to not only listen to those droning voices ramble, but to do it via a Podcast is MOTHERFUTON PIMP!

Seriously people. Podcast technology is so incredible. It's so the future. Take Web 2.0, add Ruby on Rails and Ajax, and that's not even half as cool as Podcasting. I can't believe Apple didn't invent it, but phew, at least they added it to the iTunes Music Store.

To add to the sarcasm: Podcast

Noah, your wittyness, your puns, your provactive wordings... Sometimes I think Im tracking with you, then I think, wait your making fun of me, then I think, maybe your making fun of people who make fun of me.

Anyways, you make some good points here. Although, it would be nice to hear the inflections in your voice, the pauses between sentences, and the inpersonations from your own mouth.

I'm calling on all mother futons? I think we need a motherfuton.com pod cast of Noah reading the futon daily?

Hink, Girl, Ysbl, and others do you agree?

hink says,

I have this extensible list of things I'd rather do to myself than listen to a prolecast--but, seriously, though, on the inside and all that, I can make an exception for the Futon.

Besides, I'm moving to Austin in a few months, and I plan to hang my ipod out the window and podcast the road noise along the way.

Brilliant.

I had no idea the Mr. Futon was also a famous physicist.

CaSTe dE pOD • a poem by CaLEB HAGEN

there was a traveler who searched in vain
for pot of gold or lion's mane

high and low beneath the sun
the heart of venture's teary run

treking long with earbuds white
all sunsets gleamed his music rite

'till simple dread rought one more sigh
the broadcast feed he didn't buy
