O.K. friends, I've got an idea. We've all seen how our culture loves extremes. SmallER iPods, biggER TV's. It doesn't seem to matter as long as it is "ER". But i think we are coming to a point of diminishing returns. I mean, how small can they get and still be bettER. We may be running out of room for improvement in these directions (bigger/smaller) that we have been headed.
I think medium is the size of the future. I think medium sized phone, medium sized TV's, medium sized cars, medium sized hamburgers are what our kids will be talking about. But medium is hard to market. It lacks the "ER" that we love.
So here is my idea. We need to come up with a new word. Something like mediumER, averagER, appropriatER, suitablER. Something that says medium but "sells" it.
Any ideas?... because it's our kid's ipods, cars and TV's that are at stake here.
