Ok. I need some participation. Gold stars next to the names of those who participate. Those of you who don't, will see the reflection upon your report card, which will likely lead to a hefty grounding, and more garbage-taking-outing, if you know what I mean.
I have three hundred fifty dollars, give or take one hundred fifty to spend frivolusly on myself. I know, I know, some are asking, "What's up money bags? Did the well run dry? Did the betting at the dog tracks take a turn for the worse? Did poor Buster break a leg?" In short, the answer is, I stole the cash, and I need to spend it to clear my conscious.
What should I buy? <- This portion is where your gold stars come in.
Things to keep in mind. I have gadgets. I don't need more. Really, what else do internet people think to buy, but gadgets. Gadget, this, and gadget that. Gadgets to work with other gadgets. Gadgets to fix gadgets that broke after two weeks of use, and gadgets that help said gadgets gadget better.
I'd like to direct you towards categories of thinking:
A) Good music
B) Fashion/Design
C) Reading material/subscriptions
D) Art
E) Ok, maybe really useful gadgets. But only really useful ones.
Giddy up.
Reed says,
Fashion? What happened to the whole "I don't care how ugly the damn jeans are" thing? Go to Express if you want fashion.
Or you could buy something for the wife? Maybe?
Maybe not. Good music... Ever heard the Unicorns? I have no idea what you like. Radiohead!
Art? You could go to prints.deviantart.com and buy something. There's some weird shit, but you can probably find something good.
You could buy one share of google stock...

Since I will win this contest with my all-encompassing use of the threefiddy... i should be the one invited to go with you. You need to go to a pimp-daddy steak house and have them do up a slab o beef right. I will be your dining partner. For once i will not cap on your for ordering your steak rare (still breathing) as I devour my well-done piece of yummy. You can read the fancy menu(reading material/subscriptions) before we order just to see how many different thing one can call dead cow. When the dead cow is delivered to our table with fixins and such, it will be (art)istic. They will prob have some lame steak house music playing(good music). And wear an old t-shirt (fashion/design)so that when you spill steak sauce on yourself because you are so busy enjoying the steak and not interested in eating prim and proper .. it just won't matter. Lastly.. they have awesome steak knives there (gadgets - that are useful - can cut meat, fend off overly aggressive waiters and clean teeth at the end!)

You can pick me up at 7pm on Monday night. I'll be in the cute blue outfit! ;)

Here's a crazy idea, I mean an incredibly insane idea, but why not put the money INTO A FUTURE COLLEGE FUND FOR YOUR KID!!!! You'll be thanked later. Seriously, you will.

Niko - Classic stuff. Everything was gold until you mentioned steak sauce. No peice of meat should be smothered in steak sauce, ever. Ever ever ever ever. If you can't taste the bits of the cow that are supposed to be tasted, then why even bother? I do look forward to seeing that cute blue outfit!
Waylon - Great idea. Already doing it...
YSBL - Checked out iso50.com (will be making a purchase there); Didn't find anything that I was wild about at aestheticapparatus.com; heading over to asterik now... btw, on the iPod shuffle, tie goes to the runner. To bad you were typing, and not running.

Hink wins (so long as you 86 one of those Sierra Nevadas and sub PRB).
Posted @ July 28, 2005Noah says,
Mmmm. hink - good stuff. But you left off one of the greats. A keg of Sprecher's.
Posted @ July 28, 2005hink says,
Fine - but really, nothing must impinge on the Nachos.

Yo futon, not to get off topic, but on windows/FF your link padding is wilin'.
seems like
#commentssection a {
text-decoration: none;
color: #fff;
background: #242E35;
padding: 0 3px;
font-size: 12px;
line-height : 1.9em;
}
fixes it.
Like the Lucida though.
