Riding The Gravy Train.
futons.jpg

Typing that just reminded me of the cover album that Primus did way back, Miscellaneous Debris. Such a good disc.

Anyways. What is up with this crap? A store, dedicated to selling Futon's? Unlimited at that.

Clearly this is a front for the Confederate Futon Alliance For All Things Futon, and Futon Related. CFAFATFaTR has been trying to ride the gravy train of the 'Mother of all Futons' for some time now, I should have been expecting this. I read online about people stealing design layouts, code and scripts, but I have read nothing about people stealing ideas and starting dedicated stores. Of course, I've never heard of the Confederate Futon Alliance For All Things Futon, and Futon Related either, but just because one hasn't heard of a psuedo nazi regime doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Axis of Evil sound familiar to anyone?

Charading yourself about as a retailer for futon frames, covers, matresses, and accessories on the back of my hard work, is just wrong. I don't like it, but hey, what can I do? It's not like I can top some of those sale prices.

Joshua says,

Miscellaneous Debris?

Covers of Peter Gabriel, XTC, Pink Floyd, and THE METERS on one short, sweet album. I love this disc with every part of my body. Yes... EVERY part.

Jeff Smith says,

I'm glad to hear that there are at least two more fans of that Primus album out there. When I toss that disc in the car and crank it up, all I hear is complaints from my friends.

Jeff - Perhaps it is time to think long and hard... are they really your friends?

ysbl says,

Noah, you are the MOTHER of all futons. No store with a crappy yellow/red color scheme and beveled roof and take that away.

I feel the same way about myself, ysbl.

Sancho says,

When Red Canary does a promo spot for this obvious psuedo mob front like store for CFAFATFaTR, then we know the Futon is in Trouble...

Reed says,

I was in Berkeley the other day. There were at least two seperate Futon outlets, both having CLEARANCEs and SALEs. I guess either Futons weren't selling too well, or it's time for some new stock...
