I am so not cool. Evidentally there is this web community called myspace. It combines blogs, music, and has this friend networking that allows you to link from friend to friend and post comments etc. I guess it's free, the only requirement is that you put up a picture of yourself trying to look really cool, but not so cool that you end up looking cool on purpose, but instead look cool, in an uncool kind of way. That, or your picture must contain yourself and your camera (like my friend Molly here); I guess this is so everyone can get an idea of what type of digital camera you are using. I had no idea, but I guess it's like porn for some folks to see just what make and model of digicam you are using to take your IWantToLookCoolButNotSoCoolThatILookTooCool picture.

I guess a lot of bands use myspace for their homepages now. Completely abandoning the traditional www.yourfavortiteband.com scenario. Example: Billy Corgan. I thought PureVolume was for this very purpose. PureVolume looks a million times better asthetically, but only because the kids at the Big Noob did the site. Oh, and then there are the ladies who are using myspace for those late night booty calls. They are easily spotted with thier ImNotWearingAShirt,DoYouThinkImSexy style pictures. They usually comment on your page with a, "Late Night Booty Call?" remark.

I'm not sure how I missed this new movement. Last I read, there were over 11 million myspacee's. 11 million. That's a lot. I mean, I thought that I was cool, but maybe I'm just getting to old. I'm so out of the loop. I mean, it's still cool to pull up your tube socks to mid-calf range right?
