Crossing my legs.

I cross. That's right. Swing my right, over my left. I've no shame about it. In fact, I can't even eat a meal without having my legs crossed now. I'm addicted to the cross, and I've no intention of quitting.

I guess it goes back to the time my dad killed a clown, that I bought Pearl Jam's Vitalogy. The artwork had a picture of Eddie with his legs crossed. Not crossed in typical male fashion; that is, left ankle, on right knee or vice versa. This was some thigh on thigh action that puts a few vital bits and pieces at risk if done incorrectly. If it was good enough for Eddie, it was good enough for me. And that's how it all started.

It's no easy feat, and some folks just can't do it. I took heat for a while, back when I was first getting started. (But I wasn't a noob to starting trends, I mean, I was the first to wear my backpack with BOTH straps in high school; when all the other kids were still stuck on the 90210 "One strap over the shoulder" look) The heat came mostly from folks that just couldn't pull it off without looking like a complete futon. I live for it now. I mean, to the point where my left arse cheek goes numb because my weight is shifted to that side so much more than the other. A small price to pay, to be as cool as Eddie.

red canary says,

For years I thought high leg crossing was reserved only for women. Oh was I wrong. I'm with Noah if Eddie, the king of cool, can do it, so can I.

I love that strech feeling I get in my thigh. And I hate when my desk is to low that I can't do the cross.

Brilliant.

Noah says,

Both brothers can't do it. Maybe that's a genetic thing. But have you really tried? No guts no glory ...

Numb Cheeks says,

Oh I love those numb butt cheeks...Let the numbness linger just a little while before shifting to the opposite cross. Then you can feel half your rear slowly come back to life--a little tingle in the midst of the daily monotony.

I as well took the heat for this sit-style in H.S. I can't sit any other way, its just the way the good Lord made me...

Noah says,

H-Dizzy. I hope I wasn't one of the one's ridiculing you in H.S. for that. I didn't adopt it myself until... well... probably college.
